Before her official debut, she appeared in a variety of fields, including starring in a TV commercial for “Koikeya” potato chips, performing the theme song “Choosing Hope” for FINAL FANTASY XV: Comrades, singing the theme song “Front Memory” (a cover) for the film After the Rain (starring Nana Komatsu and Yo Oizumi), and participating in the family chorus unit “Sugimoto☆Family” on the CD album Overflowing Joy.

In August 2019, she made her major debut with the self-written and composed single “FLY MY WAY / Soul Full of Music.” In October 2020, she released “After All,” which ranked in the Top 10 on both Oricon and Billboard digital charts. In July 2021, her second single “kIng” (ending theme for the anime Kingdom) was released. On November 5, she performed at the official event Kazemachi Odyssey 2021 at Nippon Budokan, celebrating the 50th anniversary of lyricist Takashi Matsumoto’s career.

As a musical theater actress, she made her debut in March 2020 in the Japanese premiere of Whistle Down the Wind as Candy. In November, she gave a well-received performance as Maureen in RENT. In March 2021, she played the lead role Yuri in the reading workshop of the original musical PARTY, and from August to September, she appeared in the Japanese premiere of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie as Bex.

In January 2022, she released the digital single “Canary Song,” produced and written by Angela Aki. Her first album 5 senses was released on March 30. On October 1, she appeared as a guest vocalist at Hiroyuki Sawano LIVE [emU] 2022 at Showa Women’s University Hitomi Memorial Hall. From November to December, she performed in SHOW-ism XI BERBER RENDEZVOUS (written and directed by Kaori Kobayashi at Theatre Creation).

In 2023, she appeared in the musical RENT (March–April), Moulin Rouge! The Musical (June–August), and Tokyo Rose (December). Simultaneously, she released a new single every month from March to July, and on October 27, released her second album SOUNDS GOOD. On August 27, she held her solo concert WELCOME PARTY – 4th Anniversary Live and on November 5, performed in the official project celebrating the 50th anniversary of composer Tetsuji Hayashi’s career, The City Pop Chronicle: The World of Tetsuji Hayashi in Concert.

From June to August 2024, she will appear in Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Imperial Theatre in Tokyo, and in September at Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka. Her 5th Anniversary Live is scheduled for August 28.
Starting February 2025, she will appear in the highly acclaimed musical SIX, which has won 35 awards worldwide, including two Tony Awards, in its long-awaited Japan premiere.
