Emiko Suzuki first came into the spotlight in 2017 while still in high school, after appearing in a popular TV commercial for “Koikeya” potato chips. Even before her official debut, she drew attention for her striking vocal talent, performing the theme song “Front Memory” for the film “After the Rain” (Koi wa Ameagari no You ni). She made her major debut in August 2019.
Since then, she has released several notable songs, including “kIng”, the ending theme for the TV anime “Kingdom”, and “Canary Song” (Kanaria no Uta), written, composed, and produced by Angela Aki. Recognized for her exceptional vocal power and emotional expression, Suzuki has also expanded into musical theater.
Her stage credits include “LAZARUS” (2025), “SIX” (2025), “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” (2024, 2023), “Tokyo Rose” (2023), “RENT” (2023, 2020), “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie” (2021), and “Whistle Down the Wind” (2020).
Her 5th Anniversary Solo Live “Nobody knows” in 2024 sold out, captivating audiences with her overwhelming performance. In 2025, marking her 6th anniversary, Suzuki continues to expand her horizons—through solo concerts, musical performances, and participation in Yuki Kajiura’s nationwide tour.
This year began with her “6th Anniversary Live” in April, followed by her milestone solo concert “SO SIX” in August. In September, she appeared in “Kazemachi Poetic”, celebrating the 55th anniversary of lyricist Takashi Matsumoto’s career. Currently, she stars in the Korean original musical “Marie Curie”, her third musical appearance of the year.
To close out the year, Suzuki will join Yuki Kajiura’s first-ever dinner show, “Yuki Kajiura LIVE Special Edition – Christmas Dinner Show 2025”, as a guest vocalist. A new chapter in Emiko Suzuki’s artistic journey is about to begin.
